At the Santa Rosa Club/Fitness Complex we  offer a facility with a complete range of fitness levels.   A fully equipped gym, fitness studio, indoor track, pools, tennis, bocce-ball, pickle-ball and more! We have a broad range of fitness instructors and coaches to assist you in reaching your goals.

We provide regularly scheduled classes taught by experienced, motivated instructors dedicated to improving your quality of life.  MOVE IT or LOSE IT!

Fee: $7 Per Class or $45 unlimited monthly pass

CLASSES 

Aquatics:  Get fit with a challenging water workout!  Water aquatics helps build cardiovascular stamina, strength and flexibility.  A refreshing, low impact, workout that increases circulation, while the buoyancy of the water helps reduce the pressure on your joints. Water also acts as a form of resistance, so strength exercises can be preformed in the water without heavy weights.  Suitable for all fitness levels.

Barre:  Total Body Bar -Kettlebells :  Total body workout that strengthens, lengthens, and stretches the body from top to bottom.  The end result is a long and lean physique, without added bulk. Accompanied with Kettlebell strength training.

Cardio/Dance:

La Blast: Dance/Sculpt Fusion: An exciting new dance fitness program created by World Dance Champion/Dancing with the Stars fitness expert, Louis van Amstel.  A combination of hi-low aerobics, dance steps, weights to sculpt, shape, and tone the muscles. This class will change the way you think of exercise.

Retro Blast: Take a step back in time to the 70s, 80s, and 90s for an upbeat, fun dancing and exercise class.  Choreographed, step by step instruction, high energy aerobics class.   It's always a party. Beginners welcome.

Sculpt/Tone:  Core Fusion Body Sculpt: Strengthen and define your entire body. Sculpt with resistance training designed to completely reshape each muscle group. Targeting major muscle groups using a variety of equipment and stretching.

SMF - Stability Mobility Flexibility: Tone , build, and shape targeted muscles in a multi-faceted approach to create a well balanced, symmetrical physique.

Stretching:
Dynamic Total Stretch: A total body stretching class which includes all  muscle groups, designed to improve overall flexibility and balance. You can expect gentle stretching to enhance a greater range of movement.  Learn to use a roller and blocks to enhance workout.

Tennis:
Shot of the week: Not just for tennis players! Strengthening all your tennis shots, increase your physical strength and power.  Great cardio workout, all levels welcome.

Tai-Chi:
An ancient Chinese tradition that, today,  is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is low impact, self paced, gentle exercise and stretching, each posture flows to the next without pausing.  Improves mood, aerobic capacity, stamina, balance, flexibility, and muscle strength.

Weights/Strength Training

Power Circuit: Muscle Confusion: A form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity interval training. A heart rate and metabolic based workout combining cardio and strength exercises.  A balanced strengthening program for the core muscles that can be used for injury prevention.

Sunrise Circuit: A form of body conditioning and resistance training using high-intensity interval training. A heat rate and metabolic based workout combining cardio and strength exercises. Core: A balanced strengthening program for the core muscles that can be used for injury prevention.  Combining slow or even static exercises for endurance, with some power core movement. This class is a step up from the regular circuit class.

Awesome Cardio-Core: Athletic interval of body weight exercises, free weights, balance and core mixed with fast paced combinations of resistance training and cardio endurance work all intertwined with cardio training to raise the heart rate.

TBC Total Body Conditioning. This class is a rigorous interval training sequence with high level exercises. It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. You will be challenged and feel stronger walking out.

Triple Threat: This 60 minute class is divided into 3/20 minute sections that focus on Strength and Endurance -  Working the major muscle groups in your body Balance - Exercises to improve your core, strengthen and improve your posture.   Stretch- Designed to improve overall flexibility and balance.

Yoga/Pilates:

Pure Yoga: A powerful tool or self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. In our physical bodies we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose. Physical postures for balancing, stretching, and strengthening the body.

Yoga 101: This beginner class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Introduces you to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. Gradually these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence. If you have never tried yoga this is the class for  you, designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.

Yoga for Everyone: Yoga Basics: Balancing your mind, body, and spirit with basic yoga poses. Using a series of poses challenging enough for the avid yoga enthusiast and also gentle enough for someone new to yoga.

Flow Yoga: The instructor teaches smooth transition from one yoga pose to the next incorporating the inhale/exhale breathing techniques,  allowing your movements to flow like a dance.  All levels welcome.

Yoga Pilates Mat Fusion: This class is a great way to strengthens your core muscles, as well as aligning the entire body.  A combination of yoga poses, and core exercise to strengthen and rejuvenate the body.

Zumba:
Zumba Gold for Beginners: An exciting, high energy hour of dance aerobics incorporating Latin movements, designed in combinations of fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt the body. The dance steps are easy to follow and members can adjust their aerobic level by increasing or decreasing their pace and movement. No experience necessary.

Zumba Toning: Zumba toning combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use light hand weights to enhance and tone your arms, abs, and thighs. This class is the perfect way for cardio enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies while having a total blast.

Zumba Step: We combine the  toning and strengthening power of step aerobics, with the fun fitness-party that only Zumba brings to the dance-floor.  Zumba Step increases cardio and calorie burning, while adding moves that define and sculpt your core and legs.

debbie  Debbie Douglass
Debbie is a life long resident of the Coachella Valley with a passion for sports and fitness. She has over 30 years in the fitness industry including fitness instruction, personal training, and as a fitness and spa director at some of the premier fitness and country club facilities in the Coachella Valley. Debbie holds certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council of Exercise. She is also a certified instructor and trainer with the Arthritis Foundation.

A former professional tennis player, Alan is  involved in USTPA and is a Tennis Pro for other valley resorts. Alan also teaches pickle-ball since many of the mechanics are the same.

lidia  Lidia Lysagaar
Lidia has been a fitness instructor at Trilogy for more than 2 years.
She has over 20-years of experience. Lidia holds a certification in personal training. She is also a certified group fitness instructor. She licensed to teach aqua, Pilates, yoga, Zumba, Power Shape, Zumba Gold, and Silver Sneakers.

Kathy  Kathy Orlando
Kathy has been a fitness instructor at Trilogy for more than 10 years. She has over 25 years of dancing experience. She continues to train with fitness icons, one being Louis Von Amstel from Dancing with the Stars, in Los Angeles to stay up to date with new and exciting fitness trends.  Kathy holds certifications with the American Council of Exercise (ACE), the Interactive Fitness Trainers of America (IFTA), and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She is also a certified group fitness instructor. She specializes in La Blast Dance, cardio, sculpt, indoor cycling, and aqua aerobics.

Patty  Patty Reyes 
Patty is our new instructor for our Aqua Class. She is a certified Aqua, Zumba, and Strength/Barre instructor. She teaches a fun and energetic Aqua class.

karen  Karen Salgado
Karen was a professional Jazz and Hip Hop dancer, working in live events and television, domestically and internationally. She has previously taught Jazz, Luigi Jazz, yoga and aerobics. In addition to Zumba, Karen currently teaches yoga and Burlesque/Heels workshop in the Coachella Valley. Karen's mission is to incorporate fitness into her students' daily routines and to help them find the wellness balance that fits their lifestyle. Her role as a coach is to motivate and encourage in a way that no goal ever seems out of reach.

ed  Ed Savage
Ed has more than 25 years of Club Golf experience and has been a personal trainer since 2003. He has a certification as a personal trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), Golf Fitness Instructor, and G.M.P. Fitness Golf Conditioning Specialist. He specializes in strength, balance and flexibility training as well as functional training.

Angel  Angel VanDerveer
Angel has been teaching group fitness for more than 21 years. Her specialties include Aerobics, Cardio Workouts, Core Training, Group Exercise, Mind-Body Fitness, Senior Fitness, Strength Training, Toning and General Fitness. Angel holds certifications in Spinning, Yoga Alliance, YogaFit, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and Zumba Basic.

Barbara  Barbara Wintroub
Barbara is ranked as a 5.0 player by the USAPA. She has been the top of her age group for the last 6 years. She is certified as a United State Pro Tennis Association (USPTA) tennis teaching professional. Barbara has used her teaching knowledge and skills to now offer pickle-ball lessons, group classes, workshops, and fitness coaching in the Palm Desert, Coachella Valley area.
